Question One - What are you currently reading?

I'm currently reading Carrie and Pet Sematary both by Stephen King. It's very unusual of me to read more than one book at once, my brain freaks out when I do but I felt like doing something different. Although two Stephen King books at once is a struggle, he has such beautiful and complex writing and I'm trying to keep up with it.

Question Two - What's your favourite 'cant leave the house' activity?

My favourite thing to do at home is watch tv and movies, I find it so relaxing, especially if it's Disney films. I like to read too, obviously, i've been a big reader since I was a child but on and off throughout my teen years.

Question Three - A book you've been meaning to read forever

I have so many books i've been meaning to read, I could make an entire blog post about it. If I can only pick one I'd have to say City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments) by Cassandra Clare. I love the shadow hunters tv show and I am very excited to read the book series, hopefully I fall in love with it.

Question Four - An intimidating book on your tbr

Currently the most intimidating book in my tbr is A Game of Thrones by George R.R Martin, which stands at 835 pages. I love the television show and i'm really excited to read the book but also a little nervous, the show can sometimes confuse me so I imagine the book will do the same but even more so.

Question Five - Top 3 priority books on your tbr

This is such a hard question! I have so many books I want to read ASAP, I tend to buy books that aren't on my tbr which is a bad habit i'm stuck doing. But i'll try to list 3 below that i'm really looking forward to reading.

1. Darling Rose Gold by Stephanie Wrobel

I have this gut feeling I will love this book. It has aspects from the Gypsy Rose Blanchard case which I find really interesting, but the author has spun a story to make it her own creation, i'm very excited to read it!

2. The Handsmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood

I'm hoping I really like this, i've heard such good things about this book. It seems to be a novel that is the sort I would enjoy, I love a good dystopian.

3. Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

I've been wanting to read this for sooooo long. It sounds like a fascinating read, and i've seen so many fantastic reviews.

Question Six - Recommend a short book

I love a good short book so I have plenty to recommend! I'm definitely going to have to bend the rules a little and make a list.

My first recommendation is Coraline by Neil Gaiman, the film version has been a favourite of mine since I saw it in cinema 11 years ago. I read the book at the start of this year, I found it to be such a fantastic, creepy short book. I prefer the film but definitely enjoy both.

Recommendation number two is Horowitz Horror by Anthony Horowitz. This was a book I read in an English class many years ago and I saw it on Depop recently and had to buy it for obvious nostalgia reasons. For saying it's a children's book it does have some spooky stories involved, but also some funny and silly ones, it's an excellent short book.

I'll make this my last recommendation, otherwise i'll go on forever. I think i'll have to go with... Holes by Louis Sachar. This book is the longest of the 3 I believe, but is only 233 pages. Again, this is another nostalgic one of mine. The first time I watched this film it was in, wait for it.. an English class! I loved it, i've since watched it many times and read the book for the first time this year. It is such a nice, easy to follow book but still has fantastic writing.

Question Seven - Recommend a long book

The longest book i've read this year that I have really enjoyed is Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. This book is 486 pages (movie tie in book) and I rated it 5 stars on Goodreads. It was such a sweet and heartbreaking novel, I couldn't put it down, I was hooked from the very first chapter.

Question Eight - Something you'd love to do whilst stuck at home

There's nothing I want to change right now.

I love what I do currently, which consists of watching a lot of tv and movies, reading and posting on my blog! Plus cat cuddles and snacks.

Question Nine - What do you plan on reading next?

I definitely want to read something lighthearted and uplifting, as previously stated i'm currently reading two Stephen King books so I need a break from the beautiful but depressing horror! I might read Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero, it sounds very mysterious and fun! Or perhaps After by Anna Todd. I read After when I was in my very early teens, back when it was a fan fiction about Harry Styles..

Since it became a proper book I've been dying to re read it!

Thank you for reading! I don't have anyone to tag so this is welcome to anyone wanting to participate.
